PAPIER-MACHÉ PAINTED MEERKAT SCULPTURE

From Raaswater, near Upington in the Northern Cape, is Themba Masala, the father of these light-weight whimsical brightly painted beasts - filled with humour and delight. Started in 2002, Themba and Nombulelo's Raaswater Paper Craft and Design studio has expanded over the years as demand from across the world has increased.
